 About

MagicAjax.NET is a free open-source framework, designed to make it easier and more intuitive for developers to integrate AJAX technology into their web pages, without replacing the ASP.NET controls and/or writing tons of javascript code. MagicAjax initially appeared as a codeproject article. Now it is hosted on Sourceforge and you can find the latest release at the downloads section.

 News
Major version 0.3.0 is released!

The next version of MagicAjax.NET has been released, go to the downloads section to get a copy! Unlimited supply!

The 0.3.0 release includes plenty of bug fixes and improves the integration of MagicAjax with ASP.NET (i.e. the client-side validators work, and new css-styles and scripts are "reflected" to the client). Also there are new controls/features. Check the ChangeLog for a quick summary of the changes and Usage to find out more about the new controls.

Maintenance version 0.2.2 is released!

The 0.2.2 release of MagicAjax.NET includes lots of bug fixes and minor enhancements, check the Change Log for more details.

Many thanks to all the people that provided feedback at the forums!

Demos for .NET 2.0

Dion has put together some very impressive demos for .NET 2.0. Go to demo2.magicajax.net and check them out!

Maintenance version 0.2.1 is released

The next version has been released much sooner than expected because we found out that 0.2.0 has a terrible bug that needed to be fixed. See the Change Log for more details.

MagicAjax.NET 0.2 is released!

The official 0.2 version of MagicAjax.NET is out! There are binary releases for .NET 1.1 and .NET 2.0, go to the downloads section and get the one that suits you.

The site is going to be updated with lots of demos utilizing MagicAjax in the next few days, so stay in touch!

The official 0.2 release is round the corner

The official 0.2 release of MagicAjax is very close, we are currently testing everything and putting the final touches. We want this major release to be as bug-free as possible so that we can concentrate on implementing new features for the next version.

I have updated the unstable cvs snapshot for those that want to take a peek and don't like messing with sourceforge's cvs services.

New developer for the MagicAjax project

Dion Olsthoorn (weblog) is the new member of the MagicAjax project. His main focus will be to improve the javascript client and to "port" MagicAjax to NET 2.0. Being a dutch person, he probably is a fan of AJAX. :)

The MagicAjax.NET home is on air!

It's pretty empty actually but at least you can go to the forums and complain about it. Eventually I will write FAQs, examples, documentation and other boring stuff but not until the 0.2 version is released to the anxious public. Please be patient.
